Are we talking Tesco ?? He seems well shit looks like the Tesco version of Delap not Haaland and I’m not trying to be mean to Delap who is a good player more that he cost 30m and is vastly better. I wanted us to get Tesco because of age profile people I respect swear he is going to develop into a mega striker, I thought he was maybe 1-2 years away but from what I’ve seen so far it’s like 5-7 years if he ever gets there. He is a big big lad and doesn’t even look strong and I have seen nothing of his technique.

And I'm really looking forward to seeing Hincapié play, because, as brilliant as Calafiori is going forward and as capable as he can be defending, he was once again caught out a couple of times for pace and hopefully Hincapié will become a good option when we need to face right-wingers with pace. Calafiori handled Salah, but he is vulnerable to a pacey winger.
northbankfc @ 11:09 | Sep 14, 2025
The good thing about Mosquera's performance is that he is genuine competition for Saliba, rather than a mere "squad player" fill in. That increases the value of both because there's a debate, where there wasn't when, say, Rob Holding was on the bench. I loved how Mosquera plays, but he didn't slow the game down too much for me in the first half. That standing on the ball thing might be useful in a Champions League game when we're one up and need to kill the atmosphere. But when we're chasing the first goal, we need more urgency. Thankfully he brought it in the second half. His forward passes have genuine zip about them and as a defender he has that tall, powerful frame and composure that makes him perfect for that position in a way that White and Timber are not, as exceptional as they both are as defenders. An absolute steal at €15m and it's not at all that we would want to sell our majestic Saliba, it's that we don't have to panic if Madrid or anyone come sniffing around. We want Saliba to want to stay and having genuine competition to me actually makes that more enticing for all concerned.

Yep it really was an enjoyable match, which truly brougt home the qualify depth we have for the first time.
I was rather confident for this season, and now even with the injuries, I am convinced we will win the league. Nobody else is impressive, think Scouse Cunts have been overhyped for this season.
Another word for refcam, I saw it got a 0/10 in the ratings and indeed, what a pile of utterly pointless shite.
Safe trip to Bilbao, enjoy the place, the match and bring back 3 points. Or 3 pintxos.

It's mad how people's first thought about a new player doing well means getting rid of someone else. Not just you Bruce, we had Qs about this for the podcast.

Arse. WiB.
Morning all.
Good perofrmance yesterday, cruised to the win with the minimum of fuss. Hopefully a few more of these peroformances against the lesser lights of the Premier League this season with our new found depth available.
I don't get this thing of thinking about selling a player just because another player has a good performance in his position either. It had never crossed my mind watching Mosquera's superb performance yesterday. If we had the best and second best players in each position throughout the team, that would be just fine by me!

Well enjoyed Blogs
I enjoyed it too, after a bemusing turnstile palaver where these clowns relieved us all of our water bottles. Why? So that we had spend three quid on theirs? Anyway my San Pellegrino superstition didn't matter, with Zubi, Mad Zeke, Clistian, Eze et al sparkling all over the place...

Match of the Day didn't even mention the incredible Zubimendi goal, perhaps that shows just how good Eze and Madueke were. Mosquera looks an amazing signing.
