I couldn't believe how Salah and Van Dyk stayed fit last season. I can't see how that is repeated, especially as Salah goes to Afcon.

Arguably the best first 11 in the league but their squad is imbalanced. Think their midfield is better than it's given credit for but their defence is definitely a touch suspect... and I'm not sure how they'd cope out wide if Salah were to get injured. Chiesa, Gakpo and utility men in Elliott and Tsimikas.
If they have bad luck on the injury front and we establish real midfield and offensive fluency, the league should really be ours.

Inevitable.
Can we have a whip round for two tickets and a banner for each home match at the Toilet Bowl?
The cumulative fines and exasperation by the authorities could result in a points deduction....

I knew that Eze is an amazing footballer but I had never seen him speak before, he comes across as such a good person. Exactly the kind of player and person we need at this great club.

Back at work today after a 3 week holiday and was feeling very blue, but the Wright Eze interview cheered me right up.

Any chance of Eze on an Arsecast

The whip round can include gas masks and shades to mitigate the inevitable feeling of nausea.

You see, that’s the reason there hasn’t been an Ian Wright statue yet, because your suggestion is valid, but how are we gonna fit all these statues?

David o leary record appearances, never likely to be beaten in modern era , 1989 team also a candidate for a statue imo perhaps is there a photo of him and Thomas and Alan Smith celebrating 1989 together

The statue should be of Ian wright and Rocky ,
Rocky won the league twice
Rocky was and is a legend. Michael Thomas’s goal also deserves a statue. Liam Brady was a legend and did a lot of work for the club. Then there’s Charlie George, lying down statue after he scored the winning FA Cup goal to give us our first Double would be different! There’s many valid claims.
But Ian Wright is now, he’s unquestionably a legend. He’s done nothing but champion Arsenal since he stopped playing for the club. He is the man most responsible for impressing on Henry what the values of the club are. Come on, let’s not get into how many other legendary players (and managers btw, why not Bertie Mee and George Graham… maybe holding a paper bag 😂? Just to acknowledge why the club might still not fully embrace him?)
It’s Ian Wright right now. Let’s get behind this one and deal with the rest later.
Agreed?

That fellow ex-Crystal Palace man Eze was born a month after Ian Wright last played for Arsenal is more poetry from this most poetic of signings. You’d have to have a heart of stone, or a heart of a spud to not be warmed and touched by this!
What happened to Ben White btw? Hadn’t heard anything. I think the fact that we have a solid squad now has somehow taken the edge off the anxiety over injuries and that safety net somehow ensures those injuries turn out to be not so bad. Hope so for all players injured. And was also nice to see Jesus back from injury and praise his dad for his return 🙏🏼😊
