Time for son hyperbole .
I genuinely believe the midfield we put out yesterday is best in the world right now .. Ödegard has some form to pick up but Declan is back to beast mode as is Partey … and Young Myles steps up from LB to add muscle to the midfield position bodying anyone..
In goal .. in defence and now in midfield it’s a fucking meat grinder playing us .. Athlete's and elite Technique ..in those positions.

There are bigger names in world football (for now) but I don’t think any of those team wanna face our lads .

Havertz’s miss was a hammer blow to many (not all) fans, it deflated us. Credit to the team for sticking together and keeping it tight (apart from that slip-up by Saliba) Raya kept us in the game with two brilliant saves. After that, what can I say, MLS, the kid I thought was too raw, just took the game to them. That goal was the final nail after Partey’s decisive moment. Moments, games are won on organisation and teamwork, but mostly on moments and moments need personalities with the skills and the courage and today it all came together perfectly. Can’t remember a more satisfying win. This could be the launchpad for something special. By midnight tomorrow we’ll know better!

Don’t love the age profile but I actually don’t think he’s at his ceiling in terms of pure output. The guy can play- he is very well rounded and PL battle tested. He has always given Saliba and Gabriel all they can handle and that is saying a lot.

I thought it was beautiful and serene and the best clap-back to Haaland's "who the fuck are you". To me, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri are special and it takes a special character to score the goal Skelly did, to win several challenges with a giant like Harland, and to then show the courage, the skill and the power to drive home that crucial third goal. That photo (and how great that MLS's number is 49) will go down as legendary. I hope you reappraise, that was a magical moment that will go down as legendary if we go on to do something and we still might.

Only reporting what was said. You can get it on BBC Sounds playback. The piece started around 30 minutes in to the show. It covers the genesis of the song

Surely that’s nonsense as kick off time is set in stone and it’s the club that decides how to time NLF, it used to finish before ko. Then straight with ko and then they moved further to the overlapping, probably thinking it would be impressive to start the match while it was still going until they realised it was bollocks, especially when we conceded that very early good a few weeks ago?

Speaking of burnt offerings, does anyone know the recipe for Facebook Chicken?

1. Turn on oven.
2. When oven is hot, put in chicken.
3. Go on Facebook while chicken cooks.
4. Return to oven when smoke alarm goes off.

I must say this not having bought anyone is very reminiscent of Wenger's later years in charge.I blame Edu for just fucking off. We should have never sung 'One more year, One more year....' all those years ago...it's must've gone to his head.

Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday started when Pope St. Gregory prohibited Christians from eating all meat and animal products during the time of Lent around AD 600. So Christians made pancakes to use up their eggs, milk, and butter. So there are 2 pancake days. Weird.
mrswoo @ 09:56 | Feb 2, 2025
Bizarrely yours is Pagan.Look Eating pancakes on February 2 also has its origins in pagan festivals. In those days, Candlemas referred to the fertility of the earth. Farmers used to bake crêpes with surplus flour from the previous year. With their round shape and golden colour, pancakes symbolised light, sunshine and the return of fine weather whereas...
