This week has been a demonstration on how important good equipment and a good mix is for a live show. Musicians, make sure you have a great mix guy!
Last night Bowling for Soup sounded pitch perfect, I could hear every syllable.
By contrast tonight's first opener were some Irish lads The Scratch. Definite potential but I couldnt hear a goddamn word. They might as well have been singing Gaelic... Maybe they were 😂... but even when they were speaking it sounded like Charlie Brown's parents. Second opener Pennywise wasn't much clearer, but Bro Hymn, such a great crowd pleaser.

in any case ¢115eh certainly aren't playing her as a striker... though I suppose the difference being we didn't have someone like Bunny Shaw leading the line.

I wish the fella good luck. I have no qualms about a non-English chap getting the job, but it does point to a further issue of the paucity of domestic high-level coaches within English football.
I'm expecting the usual dinosaurs, Fat Sam, Arry Crooknapp, etc, to pop up on TalkShite Radio spouting their jingoistic nonsense. I hope he shoves it down their bitter throats.

I'll be a bit controversial about Miedema. Although her best position was a striker, she insisted on playing midfield as a 10. And she didn't seem to have recovered well from the ACL injury. You can't have a player dictating where they want to play, and if anything, Jonas shouldn't have indulged her. Maybe a better manager would have handled the situation better, including her recovery, and she'd still be here. But I see it as 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.
My biggest gripe with Jonas is that the players seemed to be so afraid to lose possession, that they never played that final penetrating pass, or passed on the option to shoot. I hope that the new manager can fix that issue.

Great move getting Tuchel. People still don't get the levels a manager can reach with deep tactical knowledge and the key charisma needed to get players to adopt it. And if he gets those attackers synced up and they win something, at least it's a German who wins it which might stop the xenophobes from bragging at least.
