I was curious how they could stretch a whole set... They opened with Safety Dance. Then at the end of the set he goes "this one is dedicated to everyone who showed up late" and played it again. 😂 Hilarious.

I think this is also a reason why Arteta wanted to move on from Ramsdale - he talks to the media too much. Ramsdale's media soundbites are way different from the PR curated interviews given by the rest of the team.

Athletic reporting that:

Michael Edwards is close to agreeing a senior role with Fenway Sports Group, which would include the former Liverpool executive taking oversight of the club’s football operations.
Liverpool are in the midst of a huge transition following manager Jurgen Klopp’s decision to step aside this summer, with his closest staff also scheduled to leave and sporting director Jorg Schmadtke already having departed.
If Edwards accepts FSG’s offer, the sporting director position is expected to be filled by Richard Hughes, whose exit as Bournemouth technical director was confirmed on Wednesday.

I had promised my daughters that I would apply for tickets that went on sale while I was in HK. We were just finishing in a supplier office on a Friday late afternoon. Tickets went on sale at 5pm local time. Because I had told him it wouldn’t take long the guy we were dealing with said I could use his computer so I got into a long queue. I was still sitting there an hour later watching the bar moving very slowly with this poor salesman desperate to get home to his family for the weekend regularly telling me he didn’t mind waiting. I did feel embarrassed but once I had got that far I knew I couldn’t log out and go back to my hotel and try again.
Amazing what pressure spending £600,000 with a company exerts on someone….it finally took 75 minutes

And it's pretty shit, because for the Villa match, I'm basically entering the ballot just to be able to use Tx later in case I need to, though with Villa well placed to go through in the EL, I'm very likely to not go to the match, so no Arsenal for me in April. Hopefully I'll make the last two home matches. May try CL semi if we get there as I'll be on hols, but I guess demand will be the highest ever there!

Heh, true! Remember those days, the queue, the wait, see what sections still have tickets, and last season a couple of 'treble tickets on Silver' miracle performances: in December when I was in London, some ticket sale was delayed from morning to afternoon as the site crashed, and I was changing hotels that day. I'd brought my laptop with me specifically to book those match tickets (was on a leisure, not work trip), forgot the power supply, managed to book myself early (for £10) in the second hotel when I got there, and succeed in getting three together. Sure, it was hard work, but those days are gone. Well I wonder what they will cook for next season.
Let's win the league this season, so that I don't feel too shit if I stop attending regularly :-p.
