Great video but the third kit looks like a training top. The second kit still looks a bit like crazy dayglo paving. At least the home kit is classy. Adidas and who ever signs these off at Arsenal need to do some thinking for next season. At least the film directors are top notch. Totally classy!

Sporting a mineral green base with collegiate navy shoulders and off-white stylised crest and sponsor logos, Arsenal and adidas have reinvented a cult classic fit for the present day. This celebration of a unique kit delivers a wearable collection fit for supporters in the stadium and at home and the players on-pitch.

Kit looks ok but the description 🤮
goldsoundz @ 16:38 | Aug 18, 2023
Theo's watershed moment for me was the 2/3 length of the pitch run to set up the Adebayor goal at Anfield.... only for us to fuck it up in classic fashion. He was polarizing but he represented the club with class, scored a bunch of goals and will be remembered fondly. Enjoy your retirement Feo.

Third kit looks amazing imo.

We get the soft-sellers monkey off our backs by creating a genuinely strong squad and the success that shows we're not desperate to sell. We clearly need the money from sales to buy again. We are not in the driving seat. Risking not selling at all would weaken us more than if we took less money but managed to get the right player/s in. Clock is ticking 🧨

It too bad the AFCON can't be played in the summer. It's such a massive disruption to European leagues... but they have as much right hold a tournament as the rest of the conferences.

Hopefully Rice will be fully integrated into the deep lying midfield role by the time we lose Partey because it's fairly likely that we'll lose him for a lot longer than just the tournament itself

Heh, I had the same response. My concern is backup for Saka, as it seems Arteta would love to play him every minute of every game. As he claims for GK and elsewhere, there is no like-for-like in that area.

Which is why Kudus makes sense to me. He's not replacing Timber, just adding another first-teamer who is incredibly assured on the ball and a good finisher to boot. That he can play in multiple positions testifies to his well-rounded abilities, strength, skill and space awareness. It should be that all players are like that. On Sunday we had five defensive players who could appear anywhere in the half and just beyond it. Timber was linking and always available for return ball, Partey too. Saliba was the rock the one deep lying defender and Ben White slightly further forward, with Partey further forward still from the right but able to build attacks in the 10 o'clock direction with Saka to his right able to dip back and cover, with Rice tracking back at all angles. The only place where it broke down a bit was with Havertz's hesitancy and lack of boldness in looking for the ball and progressing it. With Kudus in that position we become more fluid further up the field where we can do more damage.

I'm setting myself for a fall, but if Kudus goes to West Ham for £35m as they're saying, we would have missed a gilt-edged chance to save our season. We need a livewire to add to our midfield and attack. Kudus seems a great fit. Let's get him!

With all due repsect, putting AW that silly Walcott WC decision seems off base, IMO. S-G Ericksson was the one who selected Walcott, not Wenger.

At any rate, agree with citizen; Walcott had a great career and scoared a lot of goals for Arsenal. He wasnt the next Henry, or Rooney, so it was all a bit ... Hmm. (and it didn't help that he was fine technically, not great.)

I would hope they already have lists of players in all positions should we need to make a move. This is the entire reason for having scouting and data departments.

We've turned down a few offers for players. Hope the holding out for more money doesn't use up all our time. We're still a defender, attacking midfielder and striker short, no matter how big the squad is in numbers.

Arse. WiB.

I get why people are questioning Saka's involvement yesterday. First, we don't know how long he played for, second what was the intensity of a behind closed doors friendly (any harder than training?) and thirdly, and most importantly, if it wasn't just foir fitness and they actually wanted to work on tactical stuff, not having the first team players renders it kind of useless.

Over the longer term though, as the season wears on, we need Nelson or Trossard or someone to be able to deputise for Saka when the games are coming thick and fast and the manager needs to recognise that.

Arse , why is saka playing closed door games for tactics learning !??

.third option
Loan Someone out until Christmas , like Cedric, Holding or ,Tavaras bring back to cover Tomi when we goes Asian games ?
Suppose more chance of injury but also match sharp

I have a sneaking feeling that we are going to regret not chasing Lavia with a view to moving Partey out
